Description
Prahlad was a devoted devotee of Lord Vishnu, although he was the son of the demon king Hiranyakashyapa who hated Vishnu. When Hiranyakashyapa tried to kill Prahlad for his devotion, Lord Vishnu incarnated as half lion and half man Narasimha to protect his devotee.
